1. In-Home Foster Care

Shelter. Love. Family. Boys & Girls Haven Therapeutic Foster Care consists of a supportive network of foster homes offering kids the love and stability of a family across Louisville and the Salt River Trail region. Serving girls and boys newborn to age 21.

2. Residential Foster Care

Stabilize. Heal. Nurture. Boys & Girls Haven Residential Foster Care offers home-style cottage housing for tweens and teens who are in need of more intensive stabilization services. Currently serving boys from 11 – 18 years old.

3. Transitional Living

Prepare. Support. Empower. Boys & Girls Haven offers structured, dorm-style housing in our Pre-Independent Living program, and scattered site apartments in our full-fledged Independent Living program. These programs serve both girls and boys from 18 to 21 years old.

4. Independence Readiness

Mentoring. Career Readiness. Life Skills. The Boys & Girls Haven Independence Readiness program is designed to propel a new generation of teens in foster care toward a successful transition to adulthood. Our unique program offers a blend of individualized assessments, coaching, career exposure, and access to a funnel of internships, apprenticeships, and job placements.

5. Haven Family Services

Community Based Counseling. Haven Family Services is the preventative wing of Boys & Girls Haven. We assist families in crisis through an array of in-home and office based services such as group and individual counseling, art and play therapy, case management, outpatient substance abuse treatment, and medication management.
